The prestigious Sdy Prize
The sdy prize is awarded to undergraduate linguistics students who excel in their studies and research. This prestigious award comes with both financial assistance and networking opportunities for future success in the field. Applicants will be required to conduct original linguistics research and submit it for peer review. The competition is intense, but well worth the effort!
Established in 1998, the objective of this prize is to encourage the study of metaphysics and epistemology at the University of Sydney. It is awarded annually on nomination by the Head of School of Philosophy, following the recommendation of the November Examiners’ Meeting, to the postgraduate student presenting the best essay in metaphysics or epistemology during that year.
The winner of the sdy prize will be awarded a cash amount of $5000, as well as publication in Overland and the opportunity to present their work at scientific conferences. Additionally, the winners will receive scholarships to help pay for their future education. This is a wonderful way for young researchers to get noticed and start off their careers on the right foot.
In addition to this, the prize also comes with a plaque and certificate that the winner can display in their home. Many universities offer this type of prize to their best students in order to encourage them and reward their hard work. Additionally, it is a great way to show the community that your school values excellence and recognizes hard-working individuals.
While sdy is still on his trial period at NAVI, the team is confident that he will fit in perfectly with their squad. He recently helped them win BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022 in Portugal and averaged a 1.02 performance rating during the tournament.
NAVI will be hoping to replicate their recent success at IEM Cologne on July 5, when they take part in the next big tournament of the season. In the meantime, the team will train hard and prepare for their upcoming games.
In addition to this, the team will be looking to improve their in-game chemistry. sdy, who joined NAVI on a trial basis earlier this month from MAD Lions, has already made an impact on the roster. The Ukrainian esportsman helped them win the event in Lisbon, beating Vitality in the grand final. It is expected that the team will keep him on board if he continues to perform well for them. This will give them a much-needed boost ahead of their player break. However, the exact length of his contract will be decided by NAVI in due time. The organization will need to weigh up its options carefully before deciding what the best move is. They could decide to extend the trial period or simply sign sdy for another year. The latter option would be more beneficial for the team in the long run. However, the final decision will depend on the results of the upcoming events. Stay tuned for more details! NAVI’s next match is against Team Spirit on June 15. The game will be played at the Altice Arena in Lisbon.
